Junior analysts don't push back on MDs. Associates don't push back on partners. Someone needs to say the thing no one wants to say.
Deference is a Feature of Bad Teams
When the deal team reports to the partner who sourced the deal, the bear case rarely gets full airtime. When the brief is going to the senior partner who mentored you, the counter-argument gets softened. When the clinical recommendation came from the attending, the resident moderates their dissent.
Human organizations have reasons for this. But the reasons never made the analysis better.

Every deliberation includes a round where agents are required to:
- Steel-man the strongest counter-argument to the emerging consensus.
- Enumerate specific failure modes with probability estimates.
- Identify blind spots in how the question was framed.
The output preserves the dissent even when the synthesis ultimately converges. You see what Delibera thought about and chose to set aside — and why.

This is where the uncomfortable truth lives. Trade-offs. Reasons the preferred path might fail. Places the question itself was wrong.
